Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As a Google Analytical Lead, you will work with the largest advertising agencies and clients. You'll work as a team member on Google's industry-focused Sales teams exchanging knowledge regarding client and agency needs within specific industry sectors. You will work with Account Planning and Marketing to pitch integrated, data-driven business opportunities based on internal and external tools analysis. You will also work with Account Management and Account Executives to identify business opportunities, such as keyword expansion, improved account structures and ad text.
Responsibilities
- Develop forward thinking, data-driven recommendations that align with client marketing objectives.
- Quantify high-impact opportunities with clear traffic, performance and budget recommendations and pitch to clients when applicable.
- Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to develop and test tools, templates and frameworks to streamline and scale client analyses.
- Collaborate with the agency team to educate and train clients and agencies on how to architect and optimize AdWords campaigns.
- Oversee the work of the Account Optimizer to help identify and implement recommendations.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or media.
Preferred qualifications
- 6 years of relevant analytical work experience (e.g. financial or operational analysis).
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Proven track record in high productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and proactively with staff inside and outside the department.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.
