Description



Oracle BI Publisher is a core component of the Vocalink Migration team. As a member Vocalink Migration team, the Oracle BI Publisher developer will be responsible for Migrating and developing forms / documents. This individual will work closely with Business and Data Analysts, Data Architects, development team, and Report Developers.



ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES



• Perform extensive data analysis and develop data mapping and functional solution design documents



• Works with business analysts / end users to capture document / forms requirements and translating them to technical design



• Develop and support pixel perfect Freight Forwarding document / forms using Oracle BI Publisher with XML supersets, services and database as data sources



• Develop and support forms generated using legal pre-printed forms through Oracle BI Publisher



• Work as an Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher specialist in Data Architecture and Reporting team



• Design Oracle BI Publisher Data Models, Data sets and Templates / sub templates which will be used by business in daily basis.



• Analyze data, XML supersets to develop XML, XSLT, SQL coding to create Client Facing Documents through OBIP.



• Design complex RTF, PDF, Adobe Flex and Excel templates for Oracle BI Publisher



• Develop BI Publisher real time reports using Oracle as a data source



• Design, develop, test and prepare detailed specification of new requirements



• Supporting all technical issues related to OBIP in Integration, Production environments.



• Testing, debugging and Performance Tuning applications prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).



• Work with the development team on XML supersets optimization for a flexible and scalable architecture to generate document / forms



• Provide user training including creation of training documentation.



• Other responsibilities as necessary



Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS



• Good knowledge and experience in understanding of logical and physical data models



• Overall 7-8 years of IT experience



• 3-5 years of extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of Oracle BI Publisher / Oracle XML Publisher



• Strong experience with XML, XSLT, SQL and Stored Procedures



• Experience with implementation of multi-lingual translation of form / documents



• Strong communication and presentation skills



• Demonstrated project management skills



• Must be detail and process oriented



• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-task



• Possess a collaborative working style and the ability to work independently in a team environment



PREFERRED SKILLS



• Previous Payment card industry experience



• Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle WebLogic administration skills



• Experience with Cognos



• Working with and coordinating with a global extended support team



Ability to work with cross cultural, diverse, and geographically distributed teams
