Contracts Senior Analyst


The Dell Global Sales Operations (GSO) organization is looking for skilled, creative and effective MBA or JD/MBA graduates for a role supporting global efforts in Proposals, Contracts, and Compliance.



In addition, you will be a part of a one-year career development program designed to provide participants with visibility/networking with managers and executives, career development planning, soft skill training, leadership development workshops, and a robust feedback/performance review process.



Role Responsibilities


· Performing basic tasks in support of specific customer contract or bid submissions



· Participating as a member of a team in the review of Requests for Proposal, preparation of contractual data for proposals including the terms and conditions necessary for contractual performance and adherence to established contracting policies, practices and delegations, and in the revision or updating of contracts, processes and related documentation



· Providing potential customer response document with a thorough description of a proposed solution. Facilitating end-to-end process, coordinating efforts internally to address specific specifications of transactional proposals



· Documenting understandings in contractual form, including associated schedules and/or subsequent amendments



· Consulting key influences of the business and providing support



· Commercial contract negotiation support, may require some interfacing with customers



· Building and maintaining relationships with other clients across the whole business



· Risk analysis of contract terms, framing customer demands for other cross-functional orgs (Legal, Finance, Credit, etc.) to respond



· Running through internal approval process to get the contract Ts&Cs deviations properly approved

Requirements


· Excellent command of written and verbal English, including contract drafting



· Advanced organizing, analytical, problem solving, negotiation and planning skills



· Experienced priority setting skill with strong initiative and delegation skills



· Ability to communicate clearly, effectively both written and verbal with cross functional teams



· Strong drive for results; Business and financial acumen



· Ability to summarize and present information in a concise and clear manner for executive review and approval



· Ability to lead and influence large programs team



· Very strong ability to deal with ambiguity and drive for results



· Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments



· The candidate must have excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Presentation skills



· Major in Law or equivalent combination of Law, English, and/or business. Bachelor (or above) Law Degree
