Performance Profile

LinkedIn’s Global Sales Systems team) is looking for an energetic Manager to manage full-lifecycle projects for and drive strategic initiatives across the Global Sales Organization (GSO. There will be a core focus in leading initiatives that support CRM infrastructure projects that will enable scalability, automation and optimization of critical LinkedIn sales processes from Lead to Cash; i.e. Product Entitlement, which will impact multiple lines of business. In addition, this individual will be accountable for projects within customer experience and integration programs.

This will require project coordination with Sales Operations, Sales Effectiveness and other cross functional technical teams across LinkedIn. This role provides interesting and varied work that will provide significant impacts on GSO’s go to market strategies. Successful execution will require innovative thinking in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Function as the lead Project Manager that is accountable for the solutions delivery of concurrent Global Sales Systems projects of varying complexity that support sales systems infrastructure projects that will help automate sales

  • This role will be accountable for the delivery of moderate to enterprise complexity scale Sales System strategic projects from initiation to project closure with minimal oversight.

  • Focus on that will help improve the infrastructure projects will scale for GSO’s growth.

  • Execute all deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle (DMAIC). However, agile project methodologies may need to be utilized based on the nature of the initiative. This includes execution of project deliverables by phase, coordination of internal & cross-functional resources, and regular project statuses in cadence agreed upon between the project team and business stakeholders.

  • Hands on responsibility for the status reports and project plan of each project time.

  • Ability to provide advice on best practices & alternative approaches to the team & business users.


Deliverables

Within the first 90 days, the Sales Systems Project Manager will:


  • Manage and complete 2 concurrent Sales Systems infrastructure projects that are of moderate to high complexity.

  • Track and report weekly on percent complete, highlight project risks and mitigants, project effort and duration to complete and other key project metrics.

  • Determine scope of each project and/or sprint. Agile methodology and quick iterations may be necessary.

  • Develop realistic delivery timelines in line with business objectives.

  • Continually seeks opportunities to improve business processes through people, process and technology.

  • Create measuring system or process to monitor success metrics of initiatives after go-live to ensure business benefits are sustained and long-term customer satisfaction.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of successful project/product management or relative consulting experience.

  • Experience implementing, configuring and administering solutions within Salesforce.com or on top of SFDC as a platform.

  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts (DMAIC).

  • Working knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks.

  • Experience working in fast paced, high-growth, and results orientated environments that demand excellence.

  • Previous experience in consulting or business analyst work is a plus.

  • Outstanding leadership, facilitation and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrates superior inter-personal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills. Handles broad-based, often complex, communication for internal and/or external audiences.

  • Ability to succeed in a highly collaborative team environment with multiple in-flight initiatives and stakeholders.

  • Basic knowledge of general financial and accounting principles to understand and communicate how decisions affect ROI for project.

  • Undergraduate degree is essential: Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Arts.
