Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the technical lead, architect, team members - including developers, QE and product owners to implement enterprise features while maintaining the highest quality standards.


• Design and implement features within a full stack core Java development environment


• Tackle complex, computationally-intensive problems in high-load environments while driving innovation that improves the architecture


• Work with a self-organizing team of software professionals who are passionate about quality & bringing value to our customers


• Contribute high quality, production ready code as hands-on developer while providing detailed feedback in design and code reviews


• Write clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well


• Adopt, embrace, and promote agile practices with your peers

Required skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience


• 6+ years of software development experience with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects


• Mastery of Java with experience developing and tuning highly available server-side applications


• Experience building and improving highly concurrent distributed systems


• Solid knowledge of RDBMS schema design, scalability, and SQL (Exp. with Oracle PL/SQL A PLUS)


• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SaaS

Desired Skills:

• Master’s degree in computer science


• Experience in multi-threading


• Experience in Spring, Tomcat, Linux


• Experience with large scale data processing application.

Bonus points for experience with:

• Experience in Solr and/or Lucene


• Experience in memcached, couchbase
