The Business Operations team’s mission is to drive top- and bottom-line impact for LinkedIn through objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. We are looking for a high-performing Associate / Sr. Associate to join our Business Operations team to drive our talent solutions monetization engine by:
- Ideating and analyzing the impact of new products
- Exploring new growth opportunities
Responsibilities include
- Partner with product leadership for LinkedIn Talent Solutions products, and deliver on strategic projects
- Develop a deep understanding of our monetization business models to make product recommendations
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and the teams across Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Development, Corporate Development
- Leverage LinkedIn’s “Big Data” assets to drive informed, data-driven decision making
- Create and manage financial/operational dashboards to monitor business line performance and to continually analyze business drivers
Requirements
- Passion for internet products and technologies
- Highly productive coupled with high degree of ownership and proactivity: Ability to be highly productive with limited oversight on day to day direction. This role is intended for somebody who is independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.
- High-energy, team-first, positive attitude: Team-first, “get it done” attitude. Must be motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment to help our company scale up in a hyper growth mode…and to play hard as well by becoming a key part of the fabric of the team and ensure a fun work environment
- Very strong analytical skills: Experience solving real world business and product problems with data-driven analysis. Advanced Excel modeling and relational databases knowledge a must; experience working with large datasets and using practical statistical analyses a strong plus
- Established strong communication and presentation preparation: Able to articulately present and debate recommendations with senior leadership. Quick and high quality presentation creation using PowerPoint is a must. Tracking operating metrics and financial modeling required as part of the role.
Experience- 2-4 years of work experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank or private equity or venture capital firm
- Experience with SQL a plus
- Undergraduate degree from top tier university required, with strong academic performance
