Job Description



Dell Services, Federal Government is seeking an experienced, senior Citrix engineer to work as a Dell employee at a customer site in Atlanta. The selected candidate will be supporting a multi-tiered high-availability Citrix infrastructure that is geographically distributed with a highly mobile work force. The candidate will be mainly involved in implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting Citrix NetScaler devices. In varying capacities this person will also participate in the support a range of virtualization products including but not limited to Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, XenMobile, Provisioning Services, MS HyperV, VMWare vSphere/View and various related and unrelated subsystems necessary to support a enterprise virtual desktop and application delivery environment."djam"""



Required Skills



- 4+ years of experience installing and configuring Citrix NetScaler devices in the support of Citrix Access Gateway, Reverse Proxy and SSLVPN implementation.

- 4+ years of experience responding to NetScaler alarms and trouble tickets as a result of outages.

- 3+ years of experience with recent versions of Citrix XenApp.

- 2+ years of experience creating and managing PowerShell scripts to create the infrastructure required by the virtual desktop environment.

- 6+ years of experience creating, managing, and deploying Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and associated custom GPO templates for the virtual environment.

- 4+ years of experience creating and maintaining a multi-tiered Citrix infrastructure that is geographically distributed and highly available with a widely dispersed customer base.

-6+ years of experience monitoring and enforcing organizational IT security policies and processes including change management processes. Must be familiar with industry standards, available technologies and both security & system best practices.

- 4+ years of experience making recommendations regarding the architecture and the value new virtualization-related products bring to the customer experience.

- 6+ years of experience ensuring that platform patch management and antivirus services are kept current.

- 4+ years of experience installing, testing, evaluating and integrating various applications and 3rd party solutions into the virtual architecture.

- Extensive experience resolving network and/or system issues.

-Possess a thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, core services, applications, and Microsoft Threat Management Gateway as well as Citrix hardware and software technologies.

-Proficient in the understanding and application of PowerShell and TSQL.

-High level Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer

-Virtual applications and desktops, MDM, MAM,

-Microsoft Windows operating systems, core services, and applications, AppSense, RES, Automation Manager and Citrix hardware and software technologies.



Desired Skills



- Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer(CCEE)strongly desired.

- Experience with Linux is a plus.

- Experience with Citrix XenServer and/or HyperV, VMware ESX is a plus.

- Experience with Desktop VDI Environments such as Citrix XenDesktop 5.6/7 or VMware View is a plus.

- Certified Citrix Integration Architect desired

- CISSP/PMP a plus
