Organization Overview
The Global Business Finance Organization is responsible for supporting the company’s executives and officers with financial and operational analysis to drive business decisions that contribute to the success and profitability of Oracle.

 

Successful candidates will serve as Key Business Partners to China License and Hardware Sales organization, participating in strategic/tactical planning and execution with deep understanding of the

business and its drivers.

Position Scope

Report to Greater China Senior Director of Finance

Direct Management of one Financial Analyst

 


Key responsibilities

 

•         Be the Finance Business partner to the China Sales VP’s to achieve top and bottom line growth

 

•         Participates in strategic/tactical planning and execution with deep understanding of the business and its drivers

 

•         Understands and anticipates the needs of the Business. Provides solutions and ideas to Business’s problems. Builds significant relationships with key Business Partners

 

•         Converts plans and goals into manageable tasks. Measures performance against the objectives. Understand and can interpret KPI's to business leader

 

•         Coordinates work of virtual team to accomplish organizational goals. Contributes personal efforts to ensuring punctual, high quality deliverables

 

•         Manages the annual budget process alongside Sales Management, providing guidance on appropriate levels of growth in terms of revenue and margin
•         Participates in Forecast process, including forecast calls, pipeline/large deal reviews, provide early warning analysis, assess potential risk/upside

 

•        Represents Finance in periodical Business reviews with particular emphasis on improving Financial performance.

 

•         Drives China Compensation planning process for the Sales org, including GTM discussions, annual quota reviews, and bonus pool structure design

 

•         Guides the Greater Business Partner Support team in China and India to provide close, reporting, ad hoc analysis support to Finance Business Partners

 

•         Liaise between Business and other internal groups (e.g. Rev Rec, Deal Management, Legal, Credit and Collection, Source to Settle, Tax, HR) to provide guidance and interpretation of Oracle policies

•         Involves in Compliance reviews and Risk assessment

 

•         Takes (co-)ownership and responsibility for Business decisions and execution

 

•         Participates actively in the development of financial best-practices across APAC and the rest of the world.  Helps drive the GBF long term direction and ensure effective adoption of best practices
