Systems/DevOps Engineer

Pardot is currently fielding applications for Systems/DevOps Engineers - technically-minded individuals with a passion for automating the maintenance and monitoring of our SaaS platform. As part of the engineering team, you will work closely with front-end and back-end engineers to keep our infrastructure humming, diagnose and fix performance issues, and identify and implement improvements to processes or tools already in use.



Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Engineering, Product and Support Teams on building, maintaining and monitoring the infrastructure for our SaaS platform


• Build tools to help the engineering team monitor and automate repetitive ops tasks


• Identify existing and potential performance pitfalls and work with the engineers to diagnose and fix

Requirements:

• B.A./B.S. with a strong academic record.


• Excellent communication and problem solving skills


• Strong interest in technology or marketing.


• Ability to work in a fun and creative environment


• Past experience operating and monitoring large LAMP and/or SaaS platforms


• Past experience monitoring, maintaining and tuning MySQL a huge plus


• Past experience automating sys admin of large numbers of machines using Chef or Puppet is a huge plus

Some of the tools we already use that you’ll get to play with: StatsD/Graphite/Zabbix/Chef

The primary pieces of our technology stack that you’ll oversee: Apache, MySQL, PHP, Solr, Cassandra, Redis



This position has the ability to work in Atlanta, GA or Remote.
