Job Description



ADP is hiring a Vice President, HR Technology. In this position you will be responsible to evangelize, envision and ensure implementation of ADP's corporate strategic direction of HR Systems, Data & Analytics. establishes the strategic direction and is the operational leader for the 'HR Technology Organization'. S/he manages the internal business relationships with Enterprise Applications, HR Leadership Team (HRLT) and Business Leaders. S/he approves proposed projects and ensures that project goals and deliverables are aligned with ADP's Human Capital Management strategy and business objectives.



S/he oversees the HR System Strategy for ADP, overall strategy for HR Data and Analytics. The incumbent will also be responsible for enterprise wide roll-out of HR technologies across ADP Globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Broadly the scope of responsibilities includes envisioning and implementing the HR Systems strategy and to be the trusted advisor to HR leadership.

  • S/He is an integral part of the ADP HR Strategy & Planning leadership team.




Systems Strategy




  • S/he establishes the vision for all aspects of ADP HR technology and leads the company's HR Systems, Data and Analytics.

  • S/he is also responsible for ensuring availability of tools and resources for the ADP HR technology community in alignment with business objectives.

  • The incumbent is responsible to maintain existing enterprise systems while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations and core company values.

  • S/he participates as a member of the HR Strategy & Planning leadership team in establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization's resources are used judiciously.

  • S/he is also responsible for the financial management of expenses, resources, capital requirements to achieve forecasted and planned financial results.




Talent Strategy




  • S/he is responsible for leading, developing and mentoring a team of high energy professionals and build future leaders.

  • S/he collaborates with HR and senior leaders to plan long-term and annual talent needs and tactics across the various ADP locations, divisions and/or business units.

  • S/he partners with HR to identify, design, implement and monitor development practices and programs to develop incumbents in their jobs as well as coach future candidates to develop them for positions of higher management.

  • The scope of the role also includes a high-level understanding of best practices related to HR / Technology Services / Business Process Development and ability to advise HRLT on aspects related to HR technology.

  • The role is also expected to be updated with latest technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.

  • Lead the HR Systems & Services team aligning with the ADP HR goals & objectives

  • Drive companywide strategy for HR systems, HR Data & Analytics and provide ADP HR community with the required tools & resources in line with ADP's business objectives.

  • Ensure internal ADP clients and end users are appropriately trained on systems, strategy, HR Data, metrics & analytics

  • Ensure consistent and standard usage of global HR data with ease and compliance across ADP

  • Ensure confidentiality of data for ADP associates including distribution and conformance to compliance with outside vendors

  • Responsible for encompassing all the regional technology requirements in the ADP HR Systems & Services strategy and ensure seamless implementation across ADP

  • Responsible for organization wide implementation of ADP's HRIS by working with international business leaders and gaining buy-in for roll out

  • Work with HR and Business Leaders throughout ADP as stakeholders to socialize and gain buy-in of HR System Strategy and a Global HR Data Model.

  • Effectively and consistently communicate ADP's strategic direction of HR Systems and Data, as well as project updates to internal ADP Clients and Stakeholders.

  • Monitoring operating performance, effectiveness and productivity of the HR Systems & Services organization to ensure alignment with the needs of the business, costs and timelines

  • Build governance processes for all decision making and controls related to systems & data

  • Responsible for managing process automation and process audits to avoid non-compliance and risks

  • Serve as HR's primary liaison with the technology organization to select and implement appropriate HR applications and systems, establish and negotiate prioritized issues and enhancements, and effectively maximizes the resources available.

  • Define and implement processes to enhance the usability and functionality of HR systems and processes.

  • Manage, coach and develop a team to enable individuals to reach their highest potential resulting in a high performing team.

  • Provide direction, knowledge and support to team members as needed.




Strategic Planning




  • Responsible for planning and overseeing companywide strategy for HR systems, HR Data & Analytics in line with ADP's business objectives.




Service Delivery




  • Ensures HR technology projects are implemented as per schedule, quality, productivity and cost efficiencies

  • Implements appropriate reporting of performance of HR System & Services team while facilitating clear definition of client-agreed parameters and metrics.

  • Continuous focus on improving on all parameters of HR technology and operational excellence




Leadership




  • Provides Strategic direction for increasing business value impact

  • Member of HR Strategy & Planning Leadership team




Associate Hiring, Retention and Development




  • Works with Talent Acquisition team for hiring associates with appropriate skills, right attitude and engagement

  • Manage a professional team of Associates. Create a high performance team environment that reinforces career growth and development. Foster EOC objectives (diversity, training, talent development & movement)




Client Engagement




  • Works with different Business leaders to understand future needs and gear delivery and services to meet these needs.

  • Focus on relationship building with internal clients and Business leaders requirements and effective delivery of HR Systems & Data Services




Key Result Areas




  • Manage the overall delivery of HR Systems & Data Services with oversight on the implementation of key HR processes

  • Responsible for strategic decisions on all aspects of HR Systems Strategy & Global HR Data

  • Build and enhance effectiveness of various HR management systems

  • Manage the overall performance management and MBO process

  • Client Engagement, Relationship and Senior Client Interaction

  • Collaboration within and across business verticals to ensure robust HR systems

  • Attraction, Development and Retention of associates

  • Work on creation of annual budgets ensuring the budgets are aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.

  • Brand building, representation of ADP in industry forums and active participation in industry associations and leverage the best practices in HR technology




QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:




  • Post graduate degree in technology/business administration, or related experience

  • 15 -- 20 years of business experience demonstrating strong leadership in global organization






PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:




  • Experience in management of a team of senior level professionals/managers and knowledge of HR systems, internal ADP applications is required.

  • Must have experience in enterprise-wide roll-outs of HR systems in multi-national organizations.

  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Demonstrated leadership skills to provide direction, support, influence and mentoring, foster a cooperative work environment, and motivate the team to drive continuous improvement with a primary focus on the associate experience.

  • Comprehensive industry, functional and technical knowledge of various HR technology solutions, products, services, standards and best practices

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution

  • Ability to drive and manage change as per the needs of the business environment.

  • Client-focused orientation and ability to deliver results; strong partnering skills -- experience in collaborating with business leaders

  • Effective management skills including people management, risk management and process management

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and develop action plans to improve productivity, achieve operational excellence in line with business goals

  • Demonstrated ability to launch, manage and deliver large scale technology projects within strict timelines and budgets

  • Appreciation of impact of technology on services with view on employee experience

  • Ability to drive and manage change as per the needs of the business environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
