Dell is looking for a Network Development Staff Engineer to work on Dell Networking technologies, products and solutions. You will have an opportunity to work with some of the most cutting edge IT technologies available today; such as high density/highly reliable networking switches/routers, networking virtualization, converged network infrastructure and more. You will work in a fast paced environment with an experienced and highly technical team of Dell Networking engineers to solve a wide variety of unique and fascinating problems.



Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design and development activities associated with the security and cryptographic modules within Dell's network switching products and network management systems.


• Member of the team responsible for the FIPs 140-2 certification of Dell Networking's products.


• Performs vulnerability analysis and mitigation on any identified security vulnerabilities.


• Monitor vulnerabilities, propose and implement mitigations


• Monitor updates to the FIPS 140-2 requirements


• Propose, design, develop and test features required to maintain FIPS 140-2 certification


• Support the FIPS 140-2 certification process

QualificationsRequirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline


• Coursework in Network Security and Cryptography


• Understanding of Networking and Network Technologies


• Development experience C/C++
