Relay Account Executive, Global Accounts Team

As a Relay Account Executive, you will play a key role in our Global Account team as the sales representative based in Singapore for our strategic key accounts. Acting as the go-to business sponsor at LinkedIn to some of the world’s most important companies, you will work closely with the Global Account Managers for your key clients, as well as with other cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Enterprise Support, Analytics, etc) that support LinkedIn’s largest and most strategic customers. In this role, you will be expected to excel in the following:
- Proactively grow the account off-cycle by selling new solutions and add-ons. With each new opportunity, conduct detailed discovery and needs analysis with both decision makers and end users to recommend the right LinkedIn solutions
- Build custom presentations and demonstrations based upon unique customer needs
- Be open, collaborative and customer-focused in all communications and transactions with colleagues and clients.
- Negotiate and close all orders with the larger LinkedIn investment in mind and provide post-contract support to ensure product delivery and satisfaction
- Coordinate and delegate a cross-functional team of subject matter experts (trainers, consultants, analysts) to support your accounts – effective communication and ability to work well with a team is critical
- Maintain on-going communication with the relevant Global Account Managers to keep them up to speed on new opportunities within their accounts is critical
- Share your successful selling strategies and lessons learned with your team
Essential Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience in quota exceeding roles, and demonstrated success in being a top 5% performer consistently
- Proven track record of closing both new business as well as managing existing accounts
- Experience and success selling in both individual and team sale environments
- Extensive experience selling to both EVPs & CXOs and end-users, in the same sales cycle
- Proven ability to generate a plan to ensure deep penetration into global accounts
- Success in selling a brand new, disruptive technology
- BA/BS/MBA preferred
