The opportunities team within Sales Operations Revenue Acceleration is focused on driving business through global scale initiatives. We are committed to creating a world-class sales infrastructure and experience, providing the required support for quarterly and annual planning and generating great leads for our Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams.

As a Business Analyst on the team, you will work on creating and scaling opportunities/leads for the sales teams. You will realize the true potential of your technical abilities by creating leverage through technical solutions in reaching a massive scale. You will work closely with stakeholders, both global and regional, from Product and Engineering teams, sales teams, internal product functional teams and other sales support teams to create and refine opportunities, and recommend them to Sales in the best possible way. If you like building tools at prototyping scale, even better.



Your role will require incisive thinking, nuanced stakeholder engagement, water-tight program management and world-class team work. Your ability to think strategically yet analytically, inspire others and drive personal impact are critical to succeed in this position.



Responsibilities


  • Conceptualize and execute on global Google scale sales processes.

  • Partner with LCS sales and internal Product functional teams to ensure we have optimal business logic in place, and to keep abreast of the rapid developments in our products and the online ad industry.

  • Engage with internal Sales and Sales Operations teams to evangelize the program and to gather feedback from the field.

  • Contribute to longer term strategic areas of investment through effective problem solving.

  • Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to senior management and to the broader organization.





  • Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in a business analyst role, management consulting, investment banking or internet/media industries.





  • Preferred qualifications

  • MBA.

  • Relevant project management experience in complex environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in working successfully with cross-functional programs.

  • Expertise with SQL and spreadsheet tools. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, PHP and App Engine.

  • Good appreciation of the online advertising ecosystem.

  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills and impeccable business judgment.
