A successful SMB Account Executive will be a strong advocate for LinkedIn Sales Solutions by demonstrating social selling skills in their own sales process to build trust, share insights and prove value with their sr. level prospects. They will be able to secure and run great executive meetings to help our prospective customers understand the value of Sales Navigator. In addition, they will have a strong ability to work cross-functionally within LinkedIn and also within their prospects to engage multiple decision-makers in the buying process. They will also be a strong believer in LinkedIn’s vision, mission, culture and values.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership by inspiring yourself, our company and your customers to embrace a new method of creating value for sales professionals.
- Leverage your skills and your customers’ experience to continually evolve the sales process and our product for enabling it.
- Drive revenue by connecting with customers and prospects and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful.
- Consistently over achieve the business and revenue objective set forth in your plan.
- Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the territory and create reliable forecasts.
- Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will be the foundation of this growing team.
- Listen to the needs of the market and share with Product and Marketing team.
Skills:
- Passionate about evangelizing a new way of selling using social media
- Effectively build trust-based new relationships with senior level sales executives in large companies
- Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
- Ability to bring together multiple buyers in the same company to build groundswell and leverage partners within LinkedIn to effectively evangelize the solution
- Ability to predictably forecast and execute on business goals
- Strong use of insights and data-driven decision making to bring into the sales process
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in a quota carrying sales role, preferably in a SaaS based environment
- Demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close high level enterprise business. Proven record of overachieving quota and results in a high-growth company environment.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions, CRM platforms or software platform solutions. Established reputation as a high integrity top performer.
- Strong relationships with senior level sales professionals.
- Solid usage of LinkedIn as a sales professional.
