As a Google for Work Devices GBU Analyst, you oversee all aspects of the Google for Work sales process, improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. Your strategies ensure that companies new to Google products get the highest quality customer support and that the Google for Work program overall is kept on the cutting edge.



As a GBU Analyst, Android and Chrome Global Business Unit (GBU) for Work and Education, you will work directly with executives and senior leaders, including the Head of Android and Chrome for Work and Education, to execute critical business events and projects. You will be responsible for the coordination and execution of many projects including annual planning, strategic organization planning, quarterly business reviews, etc. To deliver on these projects you will work closely with a cross functional team from all parts of Google for Work, as well as the broader Google organization.



Effective execution will require strategic thinking, excellent project management skills, attention to detail and ability to clarify complex issues, and collaboration with senior individuals from Google’s team around the world. You possess analytical skills and the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management. Google has very high performance standards and everyone is expected to work aggressively to achieve challenging goals. You have demonstrated top quartile performance in your prior roles. You can work in a rapidly changing industry; you tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.



Responsibilities


  • Serve as the central point of communication and coordination for both large and small projects.

  • Identify key business opportunities, evaluate and strategize the best path forward.

  • Support the business on key internal priorities and projects as needed across a variety of topics and areas.

  • Serve as the center point of contact for the department on annual planning, and other cross Google projects.

  • Provide ad hoc analytics and support for the executive team to make quick, timely decisions on the business.





  • Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of strategic project leadership experience.





  • Preferred qualifications

  • MBA degree.

  • 8 years of experience in strategy, marketing, business development, sales or project management at a progressive, fast-paced company.

  • Proven experience successfully planning and executing large projects and/or events.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating with senior executives across a large organization.

  • Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
