Business Systems Analyst and IT Business Partner, Benefits

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

Responsibilities


  • Evaluate business objectives related to financial, health and wellness benefits, design solutions based on analysis, and work with engineering and third parties to implement solutions and iterate.

  • Partner with internal business, engineering and vendor teams to prioritize requirements, explore solutions, develop an achievable roadmap, and track execution to meet company objectives and user needs.

  • Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with business stakeholders, user experience professionals, software engineers and other cross-functional teammates.

  • Develop technology roadmaps, collect project information and support prioritization and annual budget planning.

  • Serve as single point of contact for all technology needs of a business function including project identification, product support and maintenance.





  • Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience working in a corporate environment, in corporate IT solution design and architecting business applications.





  • Preferred qualifications

  • MS degree in Computer Science.

  • Experience in market analysis (RFP/RFI development and execution).

  • Agile scrum development experience.

  • Third-party vendor management experience.

  • Demonstrable experience reviewing and refining business requirements with business stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of Human Resource technology (Benefits, Payroll, Staffing, Performance, Development, etc.) landscape.
