Alliance Manager Norway
Responsibility on two alliance partners in Norway. Building long-term, strategic relationships and sustainable business with the partners and achieving sales objectives together with them.
Executes on the plans to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives. Interacts across the partners’ organization with executives, senior management and sales to make sure joint objectives are met. Drives engagement with all necessary internal resources (sales, pre-sales, consulting, partner marketing, contracts and legal etc.) in order to ensure a successful partnership. Covers Oracle’s three key lines of product business (Applications, Technology and Hardware) as well as cloud services. Target market includes both existing and new customers in Norway. Reports to Sales Director, Strategic Alliances, Nordics.
Key responsibilities:
- Pipeline management and forecasting
- Partner business planning and development
- Partner marketing planning and execution
- Planning, implementing and coordinating partner-led marketing activities and seminars
- Driving partner participation in Oracle marketing campaigns and events
- Driving partner certification and specializations to best match new business opportunities and partner profiles
- Supporting approval processes
- Managing partner relationships
- Utilizing Oracle's local and international resources and sharing best practices
Profile:
- 5+ years of SW sales experience preferably in a partner environment
- Bachelor degree or equivalent.
- High level of energy, drive, motivation, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
- Strong results orientation
- Excellent communications skills in Norwegian and English
- Good knowledge of the Norwegian IT market, partner landscape and competition
- Understanding on enterprise IT solutions and market drivers
- Ability to set clear objectives and execute with a significant degree of autonomy
- Ability to work effectively within a large international matrix organization
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment
- Sophisticated negotiation skills
