As a key member of a small and versatile team, you design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.



Responsibilities

• Research, design and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google's product offering, including Google Cloud Platform, Ads and Search.


• Contribute to a wide variety of projects utilizing knowledge of operating systems, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning and information retrieval technologies.


• Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to massive amounts of data and information.

Minimum qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.


• Experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms and software design.


• Experience programming in C++ or Java.

Preferred qualifications

• MS degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.


• Skills in modern web development, Python or JavaScript, database design, SQL and/or knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming.


• Strong object-oriented skills.
