Product Manager, Packaged Services



We are looking for an upcoming or recent MBA grad (within 1 year) to join our team.



As a Product Manager for our Packaged Services, you will develop and deliver high-quality service offerings--success packages-- that help customers of all sizes get the most out of their salesforce investment AND develop their “cloud” readiness. You will be responsible for understanding how a set of service products are consumed in different segments and regions; creating a development road map; doing the market validation; writing the business requirements; building the business models and coordinating with marketing and sales enablement to arm our Sales Organization (and distribution partners) with the information necessary to exceed revenue targets for your service package(s). You will also need to analyze relevant customer satisfaction and loyalty metrics to determine how to evolve our service solutions so that they improve our customers' perceived value of their engagement with Salesforce.com , increase product/feature usage, contribute to case deflection and improve customer retention.You will interact regularly with customer-segment specific service delivery teams, AEs, product teams, finance, legal, and other teams as necessary. Ultimately, you will ensure we bring new capability to the market in a coordinated way that improves customer satisfaction, increases usage and adoption, and directly impacts Salesforce.com ’s bottom line.



Responsibilities:



• Market Needs

o Understand market needs and business requirements for a set of success packages.

o Conduct prospect and customer related focus groups to identify key needs and or opportunities to create value.

o Capture customer feedback (and usage stats) on the service packages and systematically fold back into the services product development and backlog process.



• Services Product Development

o Develop and execute the strategy for a set of new success packages with core Salesforce.com delivery teams and bring new services to market as appropriate.

o As the Product Owner leading your team, rationalize and manage the product backlog, prioritization, and related planning processes in accordance with our established development framework and release cadence.

o Pull data from multiple source systems and consolidate into reports and dashboards to facilitate decision making and provide success metrics.



• Business Management

o Establish Revenue and Cost targets based on financial models for products and channels.

o Work with multiple parties to manage your set of service packages against financial and business metrics on monthly basis.



• Sales/service Support

o Enable and evangelize your set of success packages internally and externally.

o When applicable, franchise a package for indirect delivery through our ecosystem of certified partners.

o Collaborate with our internal teams to operationalize our service packages for multiple segments.



Education:



• Pursuring an MBA from top program (or within 1 year of graduation) —REQUIRED

• Bachelors' degree (preferrable in Tech) - Required

• Product Management/Program Management certification—Preferred



Experience:



• 3-5 years of experience in support services role or company - Required

• 3-5 years in a customer-facing management consulting, professional services and engagement management role - Required

• 2-3 years of experience in a Product Management role at a high-tech company - Preferred

• Cloud computing, Enterprise Software, CRM, software/hardware services experience - Highly Preferred

• Experiece with Agile (SCRUM, Kanban) development methodology, web-based training software, technical support, training and/or documentation leveraging IT services - Preferred

• Experience bringing products to marketing using Pragmatic Marketing Framework - Preferred



Skills Required:



• Demonstrated experience working with product and sales operations teams.

• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytic skills.

• Proven program/project management skills.

• Subject matter expertise in Support, Training and/or Documentation disciplines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong excel/modeling skills

• Strong presentation skills.

• Good relationship-building skills; ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders.

• High energy and passion for the job.
