Salesforce is currently seeking a Program Manager to join our Enterprise Business Sales

Engineering team. This position is an internal Program Manager role managing projects /

programs within our Operations and Employee Enablement teams. The role of the Program

Manager is to plan, initiate, and manage defined programs and projects. This includes

planning project stages and assessing business implications for each stage, as well as

working with our Support organization to create automation through workflows. The Program

Manager will recommend success metrics and create the dashboards and reports necessary

to track them. The Program Manager also monitors and reports progress to ensure deadlines,

standards and targets are met.



Operations: The Enterprise Sales Engineering Operations team focuses on making our

constituents more efficient and more effective. One aspect of this is liaising with other internal

Enterprise organizations for the coordination of key strategic sales and product management

programs. The current programs that fit in this are:



● Sales



○ Key account programs focusing on high growth customers and prospects.



○ Target account programs for specific products



○ Sales programs designed around specific methodologies for ideation



○ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



■ Coordinate management of dashboards



■ Maintain list of dedicated SEs



■ Attend program steering committee meetings (virtual)



■ Participate in creation of communications for internal executive program



■ Recommend internal Salesforce.com changes to simplify reporting (for



■ Lead monthly internal (EBU SE only) meetings to understand challenges



■ Work with Business Development to help ensure Sales Engineering is

Position Requirements:



Education/Experience:



· Bachelor's Degree



· Master’s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline

· PMP certification is required.



· 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience on customer facing technology

required.



General Requirements:



· Microsoft Windows/Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and MS



Project). MS Office 2010 proficiency is required.



· Ability to manage IT projects in accordance with industry project management principles.



· Working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.



· Ability to organize and analyze detailed information and present it in a variety of formats for



business, executive, and technical audiences.



· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing reflecting a clear, accurate, and courteous



style.



· Ability to manage timelines, dependencies, deliverables, milestones and resource allocation



and management in projects.



· Ability to write and understand functional and technical requirements.



· Ability to accurately assess and estimate project costs.



· Working knowledge of software development planning, functional and technical
