Salesforce.com is currently seeking a Product Management Intern to work on our Salesforce Communities product and help revolutionize the way people collaborate at work. We’re looking for a team player who is passionate about building products and bringing them to market.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the success of our Salesforce Communities product. Leverage market analysis, competitive understanding, and customer research to define the roadmap for Communities and bring the best of consumer web, social and collaboration technology to the enterprise.
- Develop, support and execute programs that identify, grow and improve our highest value ISV partner solutions. Figure out how to drive deal engagement for ISV partner solutions. Track progress and have clear success metrics for the highest value ISV partners. The Salesforce Community Cloud builds up it's ISV partner ecosystem via the Salesforce AppExchange.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, and then work with designers, developers, and quality engineers to implement these features.
- Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams as well as customer facing teams, ensuring that products satisfy customers’ needs and are highly adopted.
- Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, and the go-to-market organization to help them understand the vision, roadmap and best practices.
- Interact with customers to get product feedback and identify additional market opportunities.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Currently pursuing an MBA.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software and services, SaaS, and service APIs communication, presentation, and analytical skillsStrong leader, self-starter and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment
- Demonstrated experience in the agile software development process.
- Ability to work equally well with business development, product marketing, program management, sales operations, support, and engineering to drive successful product releases
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent technical experience
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience in Product Management, Systems/Business Analysis, Software Engineering or related field.
- Experience in
- Experience in designing, developing, and building collaborative or social web technologies, either in the consumer or enterprise space.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer escalations
