Job Description



Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government seeks a qualified Supply Technician to support a team designated to de-militarization of records located in Norfolk, VA. The Supply Technician will be responsible for assisting in the actual destruction of records and physical parts from programs that are no longer in use. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.



Activities include:

* All aspects of technical supply management (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to government supply chain activities.

* This individual will concentrate on the predefined de-militarization efforts already underway, while following the requirements set forth by the onsite government representatives.

* This individual will need to be able to follow documented technical instruction for proper disposal of all identified parts and components.

* The disposal and transfer instructions associated with the technical data as applicable will be generated and destroyed in accordance with established DRMO processes.

* This individual should be familiar with Navy Submarine systems and components.



Education

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance



Experience

Typically requires 4 years relevant experience without a Degree or Undergraduate Degree and at least 1 year relevant experience



Specific Skills

* Knowledge of submersibles

* Experience with Supply Chain or Inventory Management

* Prior DRMO experience

* Preferred military experience



Required Skills



- 1 year Administrative of Supply Chain experience

- 1 year experience with MS Office suite of products



Desired Skills

High School or GED Equivalent



Experience



- 4 years relevant experience without a Degree

- 1 year relevant experience with a Undergraduate Degree



Requirements



- Must be able to work in a Warehouse/Office workspace
