Product Marketing Manager, Google Partners Program APAC

As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.



Responsibilities


  • Set and lead marketing strategy for Google Partners in APAC. Advocate and communicate strategy to marketing teams and cross-functional senior leadership.

  • Help accelerate our business growth through Google Partners. Help build, educate, and grow the agency landscape and get millions of small businesses around APAC on the web.

  • Make it happen. Work with the wider regional Marketing team, as well as other cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute complex marketing campaigns and projects such as Partner Incentive Strategies.

  • Conduct business analytics to support our Agency marketing strategy and monitor performance data.

  • In cooperation with local teams, manage cross regional initiatives to drive business growth and product adoption. Drive ideas that can scale across countries; spread best practice.





  • Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Technology/online industry experience.

  • Project management experience, including marketing campaign planning and execution.





  • Preferred qualifications

  • MBA degree.

  • Strategy consulting experience. Knowledge of online products and market dynamics, understanding of Google’s strategic and competitive position.

  • Track record of effectively delivering large-scale and/or multiple projects at one time in a very fast-moving environment.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to develop strategy, business plans, customers and market insights, analyze campaign effectiveness.

  • Ability to provide direction and prioritize team goals and workload, motivate and coach Product Marketing Managers in local markets. Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Fluency in English and other APAC languages.
