LinkedIn’s Feed team is responsible for delivering the systems and algorithms that generate and serve feeds of professionally relevant activities and content. These feeds are used to power many of LinkedIn’s most important products including. LinkedIn.com, LinkedIn’s Mobile App, LinkedIn Pulse Mobile App, LinkedIn Connected Mobile App, Recruiter, and many more.
As the Engineering Manager on the Feed Personalization Platform Team you will be responsible for leading and building a team that will build and own the online serving platform that makes the LinkedIn feed the essential source of professional insights for hundreds of millions of users. You will work with some of the best engineers and scientists on state-of-the-art technology that leverages truly big data.

Responsibilities:
• Hire world class talent and provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members
• Fulfill leading contributor role as a lead engineer and a hands-on manager of a small team working on stream relevance
• Collaborate with system and application engineering teams to showcase the best content to our users
• Ownership of feature engineering, feed serving and controlled experimentation enabling a richer daily use-case on LinkedIn
• Collaborate with the product team and with data scientists in determining the next step for the feed platforms and algorithms.
