Project Consultant, 'Chief of Staff' to the President of Foundation and External Affairs

The Project Consultant is a dynamic position supporting the President of the Foundation and External Affairs across all areas of responsibility ensuring alignment and execution of division priorities in support of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s strategic plan and mission.  

In this key position, you will have the opportunity to partner directly with the President in support of division programs and strategic management of internal and external relationships, manage significant projects and serve as a strong facilitator and liaison with senior staff and senior leadership across the Children’s system. 

We are seeking a driven and strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is challenged by a role with the opportunity to:

• Work with all departments of the division and serve as liaison between the office of the President and internal functions;
• Partner with President to construct and deliver on an ongoing agenda to create and maintain an operationally excellent division and strong division leadership team;
• Provide high-level consultative, technical and decision-making support to President regarding system goals and initiatives;
• Develop, recommend, and implement action plans, oversee project teams and/or performs, complete other project management duties as necessary to ensure successful completion of assigned projects within specified time frames;
• Conduct research and analyzes/interprets data, processes and systems related to assigned projects;
• Support the President by preparing for and participating in high-level meetings with internal teams and external partners assuring strategic advice and follow-up;
• Ensure effective communication and workflow from the President's office internally to the organization and externally to third parties
