We are looking for an Insights Analyst based in Dublin supporting the Sales Solutions business to deliver customised actionable insights to our clients & prospects. This role is part of the global Insights team. The LinkedIn Insights team blends business analytics and research to closely support internal sales & field marketing teams and our external clients. Our goal is to create data-based insights to power the most effective sales & marketing engine in the world.

As an Insights Analyst you will have the opportunity to work with one of the richest proprietary data sets. You will be able to shape the future of a rapidly growing business line at LinkedIn and be a part of a team driving success for the business in EMEA. You will produce insights that support our field sales team, prospects, and customers. You will work closely with our sales team to provide data analysis support that will be used in producing powerful sales proposals, client business reviews, and marketing material. In this role, you will become an expert at extracting data from our quickly expanding proprietary data set and turning it into business insights.

To be successful in this role you need to be highly analytical, have a passion for structuring and delivering on ambiguous requests. You must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and work with sales teams to figure out exactly what is impactful to clients. Your stakeholders won’t always know what’s possible, so it is important that you ask effective questions to get clarity in addition to managing expectations on what you can deliver.

Skills & Expertise required:

• Expertise in data analytics and solving problems with data; must be a hands-on implementer
• Experience building actionable insights to internal or external customers
• Aptitude to learn new technologies; SQL experience is a plus
• 3+ years’ commercial experience; degree from top university a plus
• Experience in manipulating data in excel to build & visualize a story; Tableau experience a plus
• Expertise in marketing/sales support
• Experience in communicating with technical and non-technical people
• Extremely well organized and capable of handling multiple ad hoc requests simultaneously
• Integrity-driven, collaborative team player
