Organization Overview
The Global Business Finance Organization is responsible for supporting the company’s executives and officers with financial and operational analysis to drive business decisions that contribute to the success and profitability of Oracle.

 

Successful candidates will serve as Key Business Partners to TW License and Hardware Sales organization,  participating in strategic/tactical planning and execution with deep understanding of the business and its drivers. 

 

Position Scope

Report to Greater China Senior Director of Finance


Key responsibilities

 

•         Be the Finance Business partner to the Taiwan Managing Director to achieve top and bottom line growth

 

•       Drives the annual budget process alongside Sales Management, providing guidance on appropriate levels of growth in terms of revenue and margin

 

•         Involves in Compliance reviews and Risk assessment

 

•         Works closely with GFIC (Global Finance Information Center) in India to provide timely report and analysis to Management

 

•         Drives month and quarter end close and P&L management

 

•         Drive automation/process improvement projects

 

•        Supply constant and real-time financial information to business partners on revenue streams, operating expenses, headcount and key business drivers.

•           Excellent analytical skills and familiarity of its application to business analysis and planning


•           Ability to analyze situations and make recommendations to solve issues or improve process

•           Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills

 

•           Strong communicator. Express and articulates key elements of ideas or concepts (both written and verbal) in a logical, descriptive, and comprehensible manner.

 

•           Effective listening and communications, and executive skills; demonstrated ability to create effective proposals to influence decisions

•           Competency in business process design and systems usage

•           Promotes an open flow of information so all concerned are well informed

•           Ability to track the progress of multiple inquiries and tasks effectively

•           Takes initiative to achieve value added results, within the scope of responsibility

•           Technical aptitude, ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures

•           Ability to work well in a fast paced and changing environment

 

•           Relevant experience in enterprise software or hardware industry. Knowledge of industry and ability to articulate industry patterns and trends.

 

•           Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Sales FP&A and/or Operations is preferred. MBA highly desired.
