Business Systems Integration Analyst, Legal Systems

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

As a Business Systems Integration Analyst, you will help drive systems initiatives to meet the needs of internal Legal customers. You should be an experienced, generalist IT business analyst. You have the ability and interest to work on a range of different types of projects and business processes, and have a background that demonstrates this ability. You should have a track record of having worked on implementing both 3rd-party software solutions and custom built solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal business teams to define business requirements and associated system requirements.
• Work with the engineering team to develop, build and deploy technical solutions.
• Manage relationship and expectation of internal customers.
• Lead systems implementation projects to deliver requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution.
• Drive testing and quality assurance process.

Minimum qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in implementing applications.
• Experience in full implementation lifecycle for delivery of systems solutions (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).

Preferred qualifications

• Development experience.
• Background experience as an Information Architect, Solutions Architect including Knowledge Management and domain expertise in Legal systems and technologies.
• Domain expertise in Legal Operations.
• Demonstrated top quartile performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
• Demonstrated ability and strong track record in developing and delivering business systems, technical requirements and process design/optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English, and the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
