We are looking for an energetic and dynamic sales person with experience in IT Solutions Sales to join this brand new team and introduce Oracle’s Hardware & Systems Solutions to the Netherlands marketplace. Role:

  • Winning new sales revenue in line with targets in a timely and predictable fashion
  • Developing and maintaining a strategy and product sales plans to address the designated industry sector or geographic territory
  • Driving the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns
  • Generating and following up on leads and qualifying and prioritising opportunities
  • Marshalling internal and partner resources to conduct campaigns/ sales cycles
  • Identifying and working with the appropriate people in Oracle and the Customer
  • Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate staff
  • Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle
  • Providing relevant reports and forecasts
  • Working with, and influencing the activities of Oracle Partners as appropriate
  • Maintaining an understanding of Oracle's strategic direction and interpreting its relevance to the industry sector
  • Maintaining an excellent awareness of Oracle's current and future technology products and services
  • Maintaining an understanding of the competitive activity relevant to industry sector or geographic territory

Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Senior Sales role with a proven track record of success in a sales driven organisation, ideally selling IT Software/Technology related products/services in a ‘Solution based’ sale.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to take a leading sales role, managing virtual teams and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Experience in both hunting for new business and managing existing clients.
  • A good understanding of Hardware/Software industry practices, dynamics, and market trends is useful but not necessary.
  • Large/Key account experience will be very beneficial.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  • Dutch and English language Skills.
  • Energy, passion, enthusiasm, commitment & flexibility.
  • Ambition to develop your career at Oracle.
