The Sales Operations Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our rapidly growing Marketing Solutions Business. We're looking for high energy, hardworking candidates with exceptional quantitative, communication, and project management skills. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities, simultaneously mixing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands in a fast paced environment. You will combine high level strategy with technical execution and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with Sr. Leadership to drive sales strategy and execution plans
- Deliver strategic and operations projects globally as required to evolve and transform LinkedIn’s sales model
- Coordinating with cross-functional managers to lead mission critical projects
- Designing and deploying sales processes that result in disciplined, compliant, scalable and optimized practices across the global field sales organization
- Driving management decision-making by deriving analytics and insights from our CRM, Finance and Ad Serving systems
- Streamlining sales processes
- Rolling out sales programs to our Global Field Sales team
- Conceive of and design automated reporting through salesforce.com, DWH and tableau that drives a regular stream of key data to decision-makers
- Deliver strategic and operations projects globally as required to evolve and transform LinkedIn’s sales model
- Design, build and optimize sales territories
- Work with fascinating data and be at the front of thought leadership for the companies monetization strategy
- 6+ years in management consulting or investment banking
- BA or BS degree (advanced quantitative or business degree a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in the media industry
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with executive level management
- Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments.
- MBA preferred
- Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
