Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
Deploy your strengths as an experienced self-starter as you manage and audit our strategic partners globally. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional and cross-organizational tasks to define, build and rollout innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, evaluate and audit vendor security practices, and drive consistent processes in a fast-changing environment. As you identify drivers and opportunities, you will push for and support tangible actions to improve results. You will interface with the business teams to assist and internal stakeholders to assess the organization's security posture, flow out the ‘as is’ and 'desired state' business and process flows, dig into the details to understand the problem, coordinate requirements discussions, document requirements, act as the liaison between the various business and technical teams within Google, effectively communicate project status, manage project risk, and drive the project through to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist with projects that include strategy development, requirements definition, and business process improvement.
- Audit our strategic partners using existing and newly developed technology.
- Partner with business leads to define and manage business process and technology roadmaps; manage change. Implement new ideas effectively within the Google culture. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.
- Develop, organize, and manage complex multi-functional project activities including project tasks, milestones and schedules. Provide functional subject matter expertise in the fields of Security and Compliance.
- Manage complex projects to major milestones, develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates, prepare executive briefings and project presentations (ability to ‘tell the story’) to obtain executive approval.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
- CIPM, CISSP, CRISC, and/or equivalent data security certification.
- Background in logs analysis or familiarity with access logs analysis.
- History of interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.
- Proven track record dealing with ambiguity and thriving in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Superb written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
