Key Responsibilities
Volume Distribution Director will be responsible for increasing Dell’s distribution business in the META region. A successful applicant will own the overall responsibility for distribution strategy, execution and implementation of distribution and 2nd Tier programs, delivering the financial objectives and to drive the distribution sales force across the region.
Volume Distribution Director will continually evaluate Dell’s distribution model, identify opportunities for change and development, prepare comprehensive plans including short, medium and long term developments, and drive execution of the plans to deliver results.
- The candidate will be responsible for: Develop and grow the Distribution business across META region.
- Be accountable for delivering or exceeding the financial goals, Distribution strategy and structure in the Volume Distribution.
- Leading the distribution organization; Revenue and margin goals for distribution business in the region
- Strengthen Dell’s position in the market by growing market share on clients and enterprise products.
- Build strong partnerships with Dell’s broad line distributors.
- Consolidated sales out and inventory reporting for the Distributors and Distribution forecast
- Creation and roll out of incentive programs, Partner Marketing activities including dealer incentive programs
- Develop programs and techniques to Improve Sales Out of Distributors and Co-ordination of business plans and sales out activities with the Country Managers
- Hiring, managing and motivating the team
QualificationsEssential requirements
- Extensive experience of selling technology solutions
- Deep expertise of market trends that impact on Dell’s customers
- Effective presentation, negotiation and executive relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Fluency in English
Desirable requirements
- Arabic language skills
