Working within the Oracle Human Capital Management Development Organization, this role focuses on the development and maintenance of the company’s Fusion Applications product families. I n particular you would become a member of the team responsible for user and role provisioning functionality. This software is used by our customers to enable their personnel and new hires to log in to Fusion and manage their details and any enterprise level data and functionality to which they have access.
This is a multi-faceted role involving writing of production and test code, together with the analysis, design and implementation of business requirements, and unit and integration testing. Given the relatively wide-ranging nature of the role, a willingness to take on a variety of different types of task and adapt to a dynamic and changing environment is key.
Responsibilities:
- Developing software from requirement specifications.
- Working with Oracle Support and QA to maintain the product area.
- Writing technical design and solution approach.
- Write and execute Unit Testing code.
- Estimating how long changes are likely to take for implementation.
- Writing code, unit testing and integration.
- Participating in the review of their and other staff’s design documents and source code.
- Responding to issues raised by the QA or support teams.
- Conforming to software development standards and procedures.
- Providing feedback on development tools and procedures and suggestions as to where improvements can be made.
