Hong Kong, HK - Computer Software, Entertainment, Media Production

Sells Oracle Front Porch Digital products and services directly or via partners to existing and new accounts across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.


Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self-sufficiency. Prospecting is a part of the regular routine ensuring that new prospects are being added to the pipeline on a consistent basis. Attending and participating in industry trade shows. Developing positive and professional relationships with local and regional partners and end user customers. Establishing, monitoring and managing a network of lead generation resources. Establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales. Researching and developing lists of potential customers. Keeping up to date with customer movements. Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets. Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products. Maintaining a database of leads and prospects.


Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. A minimum of 5 years field sales experience in technology sales with experience in Media & Entertainment. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills are essential. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by: Maintaining an aggressive but realistic sales funnel for the assigned territory. Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts. Participating in sales meetings and the business planning. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Entrepreneurial flair and ability to penetrate new verticals. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors.
