The Functional Architect/Product Manager will support Oracle Hospitality’s integration products. Integration products provide the interfacing gateway for various external systems to inter-operate with our products.

 

The Functional Architect will bring to the position a high level of energy, a passion to learn new technologies while delivering excellent customer service, and the ability to serve as an expert in their specialized product and market. 

 

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of hotel industry operations and trends. Conceptual and practical understanding of standard interfacing components; Web Services, XML, Networking protocols (ie. HTTP/S) and experience leveraging software development life cycles.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Define product specifications and/or strategy. 
  • Responsible for design, process, manufacture, test, quality, and marketing of products from conception to distribution. 
  • Specifically, perform pre-QA tests, ensure accurate development of custom product development items, and coordinate between different teams in organization. 
  • Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. 
  • Communicate product strategy and functionality. 
  • Review product documentation and collateral.
  • Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities. 
  • Ensure completion of project and/or product within schedule and budget. 
  • Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. 
  • Organize interdepartmental activities.
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of direct area of responsibility
  • Demonstrable ability to engage and influence development teams on design and technical levels
  • Driving a solution across development teams through customer requirements and problem resolution
  • Developing and implementing an integrated go-to-market plan, working with all teams to execute
  • Possess domain expertise in the business area and software development
  • Deliver consistently projects on time with quality
  • Articulate clearly solutions to business problems Due to the nature of this position, employee may be subject to extensive background checks.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
