Business Analyst/APEX Developer
Romania, RO - Information Technology and Services

Job Summary:

Develop, test, document, and deploy high quality, scalable business solutions on the Apex platform.

Defines and implement data management model, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, mining, storing, cleaning and security

Required to provide reports and presents analysis of data on all aspects of regional service delivery organization to Operations Manager.

Provides analysis on business procedures determining opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and cost savings.

Defines business system reporting, process roadmaps and process strategies for implementation across region.

 

Responsabilities:

Communicate and collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality, scalable business solutions on the Apex platform.

A focus on quality is a must, as is the ability to understand business requirements and meeting them with a technical solution that is extendable across various businesses and maintainable.

Experienced in data management, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, mining, storing, cleaning and security.

Scope and gauge level of effort for technical solutions.

Must be able to get hands-on in the end-to-end build process

Analysis, prioritization, project management and resource assignment in relation to apex development requests

Analyzes data and reports on all functionality within service delivery effecting cost of doing business. Understands business objectives.

Produces Field Reports that cover Logistics Delivery, Number of first time fix calls, KPI

measurements, Partner Invoicing, Partner Score-carding, Partner Invoicing, Control Tower statistics reporting and all elements of Purchase Order requisition management.

Performs process or functional analysis and writes/reviews specifications, identifies gaps compared to operational requirements, drives issues with management for resolution and overall ensures the fulfillment of business requirements.

Evaluates procedures and set-up requirements of new business process/programs across region, ensuring roll-out improves business by constant reviewing of new activity, providing quality data confirming new process/program optimizes business support capabilities.

Responsible for day-to-day engagement with business and or process subject matter experts.

Advises and consults with Operations business teams to develop strategic roadmaps. Attends monthly/quarterly business reviews.

Drives change management activities for successful implementation of corporate initiatives.

 

 

Education and Experience

Business degree or equivalent work experience in service operations environment.

5 years experience in using SQL and developing Apex/web-based solutions

Confident and able to communicate well across all levels of the business.

 

Professional Skills

In-depth knowledge of SQL, Oracle Application Express, PL/SQL and jQuery

Expertise in Data modelization and database design

Capable of quick code reviewing

Capable of interpreting and translating customer requirements into technical specifications

Technology watcher - bird eye view and vision of organization needs

Project and resource planning

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Good organizational skills – committed to deliver within set time frames.

An ability to work under pressure.

An ability to work independently 

Proactive and self-driven individual with good oral and written communication skills
