GENERAL SUMMARY



Responsible for leading the supply planning process for Australia/New Zealand Region to develop and execute the supply forecast plan for Consumer Business. The Primary focus is on supply planning and forecasting which involves extensive collaboration with regional marketing, product line managers, sales operations, supply chain and finance counterparts.

Successful candidate will have the ability to lead a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical colleagues across the region/segment while developing the most accurate forecasts to support dynamic customer needs.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



· Ownership of the country/segment level finished goods and build to order forecast planning to enable robust short, medium and long term forecasts to achieve the highest potential forecast accuracy across the associated product lines.



· Participation in weekly outlook review meetings including active engagement with cross-functional team members on assessing the current state of the business and develop / implement bridge plans to ensure the business achieves its P&L objectives



· Provide clear reporting on actual business trends and analytics which include demand / attainment and forecast accuracy on all forecast models; providing recommendations to the Marketing and Sales teams in a timely and effective manner to minimize / eliminate E&O exposure to the business



· Work with Sales/Marketing team (Product, Brand, Merchandising) on the timing / availability of new products for inclusion in the forecast



· Analyze forecast management processes, assess and challenge current demand inputs, identify gaps (such as accuracy), innovate, and drive improvement on demand-sensing capabilities



· Actively engage and collaborate with team members to align forecasts.



· Analyze and maintain reporting procedures to measure forecasting accuracy against actual sales reporting back and driving improvement plans with internal stakeholders.



· Determine the key planning milestones and transition plans for each product (both new and refresh cycles) – based on alignment with product team.



Qualifications




  • Graduate studies in Business Management with specialization in Supply Chain management / Operations / Planning

  • 7+ years of working experience in finished goods and build to order planning under complex business environments

  • Transition Management

  • Able to influence decisions at all senior management levels

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) experience

  • Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills)

  • Able to drive recommendations that will influence decisions cross functionally

  • Able to work independently

  • Advanced excel

  • Flexibility in early hours due to Australia/New Zealand time zone

  • APICS certification will be an added advantage
