System Engineering Sr Analyst


Role & Responsibilities:


Dell is looking for System Engineering Sr Analyst who will join our team to support the IT facility for our software product line: Windows Server Management.



With the Windows Server Management software products, organization can streamline management, migration, customization, and protection of your application workloads and business data on Microsoft platforms such as Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Lync.



The candidates will be part of the Lab Manager team, responsible for various software development and testing Labs reside on physical servers, virtual platforms and clouds, and also help the IT team in supporting software engineers workstations.







Essential Responsibilities:

• Setup and manage the dev/testing Labs and team servers for product teams, to support the software dev/testing requirements


• Provide technical solutions based on the existing hardware and system resources, and advices toward the team's hardware & system planning.


• Research on the latest infrastructure technologies


• Trouble-shooting and solving infrastructure down-time and performance issues, by co-working with IS technicians.

Qualifications :


Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of system/network/infrastructure administration experience.


• Familiar with virtualization servers (ESX/ESXi) and technology, like VMWare, Hyper-V, Lab Manager, etc.


• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms, especially Active Directory, Exchange, Lync/OCS and SharePoint, and/or the integrated/comparable platforms like BlackBerry, Lotus Notes, GroupWise, etc.


• Strong learning and analytical skills


• Ability to work in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scripting languages: PowerShell, shell, ruby


• Knowledge & experience in Cloud: AWS, Azure
