Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Corporate Development and Strategy Director to be based at our Services headquarters in Plano, TX.



Dell Services Strategic Planning is seeking an exceptional leader and forward thinker to drive the transformation of Dell Services. We are a small team responsible for defining and driving strategic programs for Dell Services, working with the Services Leadership Team, including Dell Services President and direct reports.



Role Responsibilities

– As a key team member of the Services Strategy Team you will lead internal strategic teams delivering insights and recommendations that enhance the growth and profitability of the business

– The work includes evaluating new areas of business opportunity, including development of strategic rationale, plans and investment cases, as well as optimizing the current portfolio

– You will work in high impact, high value programs that are top priorities for Executive team, become a trusted advisor to senior level executive decision-makers and P&L owners and establish relationships at all levels of the company



QualificationsRequirements

– 10+ years work experience, including 3+ years of strategy or consulting experience in a leading technology company or a top tier consulting firm where you have lead Services Strategy

– Proficiency in leading and managing teams

– Very strong understanding of business strategies and drivers

– Outstanding problem solving and quantitative analytical skills

– Drive for results and ability to learn on the fly, applies 80/20 rule

– Self-direction and motivation, and ability to operate independently

– MBA or equivalent work experience



Preferences

– Ability to effectively work at all levels of the organization and in cross functional teams

– Flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges and deal with ambiguity

– Ability to analyze and synthesize key market, financial & competitive trends Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel
