Technical Program Manager, Cloud Front End

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work with product and engineering teams to launch high-impact projects.
• Drive cross-functional projects to drive viewership and growth.
• Engage directly with executives from different projects and partners, communicate well both within Google and outside, and manage project timelines and budgets.

  Minimum qualifications
  
• BS degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing technical projects for the complete life cycle, with competing resources and priorities.
• 
  
  Preferred qualifications
  
• MS degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience managing multiple international projects and people, acting as a technical lead.
• Proven ability to work on assignments that require data evaluation, recommendation development and decision making.
• Ability to manage without authority and work with people in remote locations.
• A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced environment.
