Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The Regional Client Lead will partner with the regional C-Suite executives of one of the world's top brand advertising companies to help them transform their business and their communications for the digital age.

You are a sales and marketing executive with a record of leading change and breakthrough results. You are a brand builder at heart, comfortable setting brand strategy, developing brave creative ideas, or diving into detailed research and user metrics. You are passionate about the power of digital to reinvent marketing communications.

You will report to the Global Client Partner for the client, and be responsible for building out a fully-dedicated account team to support the client in the region. You will work with your manager to set the strategic objectives for the client, and run the day-to-day business with them in the region, using challenging, consultative promoting to transform their businesses towards digital. You are a charismatic leader, inspiring the client, the team, and a whole industry. You will build deep and enduring relationships of trust with colleagues, clients and agency partners. You will jump effortlessly from big picture strategy to sleeves-rolled-up execution. You will be great fun to work with and help enhance the positive Google culture. You will be located in the geography of the client’s regional headquarters and should expect to travel extensively within the region.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for business development with some of Google’s largest and most advanced global brand advertisers. You will help them succeed through greater use of our solutions.
  • Develop annual and quarterly plans and drive their execution through your direct team, and through a network of support teams across Google.
  • Develop strong relationship with client and agency brand builders, leading to truly collaborative joint business plans with a potential to increase their investment with Google.
  • Be well versed in all our advertising solutions and be able to represent all of Google to the client.
  • Share the leading edge thinking and execution that you develop with the rest of your global client team, and with the wider Google.


Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in advertising sales, account management and/or client services.
  • Industry Experience and related experience in brand building/general management. P&L experience as a marketer.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically.


Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working with the specific client, either directly or via an agency.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience working with PR and media publications.
  • High EQ (Emotional Intelligence) that enables close working relationships with key leaders at top companies worldwide.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems and scale effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team.
  • Proven track record of brand building success as well as business results delivery.
  • Full understanding and comfort with APAC business culture and acumen. Comfortable and accomplished promoting transformational ideas.
