Corporate Strategy – Internal Strategy Consultant



Dell's Corporate Strategy group is seeking exceptional leaders and forward-thinkers to help us drive the transformation of the company. We are a small team who works closely with the CEO’s office and the Executive Leadership Team, and who collaborates across business segments to develop and implement solutions which deliver tangible results.



As a key member of the Corporate Strategy team, you will be:

  • Consultant to internal clients.

  • Key part of a team leading projects to tackle issues and opportunities identified by the CEO’s office and the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Llad analyses, deliver insights, provide actionable/practical recommendations, and drive implementation to transform Dell.




In the role, you will

  • Work on highly complex problems

  • Provide insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the Executive Leadership Team

  • Gain exposure to senior-level decision-making; and

  • Establish relationships across all areas of the company






Qualifications



Job/Education Requirements:



• 10 + years of experience, including at least two years of strategy consulting experience at a top-tier management consulting firm OR 6+ years of experience at a large technology company in a strategy role



• Proficiency leading and managing smaller teams (1-2 person) teams



• Very strong understanding of business strategies and drivers



• Outstanding problem solving and quantitative analytical skills



• Ability to structure large, ambiguous business problems, and prioritize issues to address



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills



• Drive for results and ability to learn on the fly



• Self-direction and motivation, and ability to operate independently



• Ability to effectively work at all levels of the organization



• Flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges



• Experience in enterprise hardware, services, and / or software



• Proficiency in using Microsoft tools – Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook



MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
