You will lead and motivate a team of direct reports to achieve amazing performance goals. You'll work closely with the executive management team to set and develop business strategies. You will draw insights from analytics to make our people process smarter and more efficient. You will use your strong communication skills to tell rich, meaningful stories using data and influence decisions. You will develop strong relationships across the organization, working collaboratively with clients, peers and key leaders to drive results for your team, the department and clients.
You will be responsible for Google's Tech recruiting strategy, team, and objectives in India. You will prioritize team resources and manage performance metrics to achieve hiring targets and optimize client and candidate experience. Reporting directly to the Head of APAC Staffing, you will be part of the leadership team that is innovatively hiring the world’s best talent.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a Staffing business strategy, which includes an annual hiring plan that emphasizes the quality and diversity of hires, as well as a focus on process efficiency and strong client management and candidate satisfaction.
- Lead the Staffing portion of annual headcount planning and Staffing resource planning processes in close collaboration with Finance, HR Business Partners and Staffing Effectiveness teams.
- Manage and influence complex partner relationships (Process Effectiveness, Diversity, Leadership, College, APAC, Sourcing Team, Shared Services, Compensation) to ensure Staffing objectives are met.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Proven ability to take initiative, drive projects and solve complex problems.
- Proven ability to develop employees and maximize individual and team performance while maintaining a fun working environment.
- Strategic thinker with ability to deliver significant impact as a business leader.
- Acts as a role model, demonstrating personal accountability, integrity and credibility.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
