Title: Reseller Operations Director

The Reseller Operations Director will manage multiple operational aspects of reseller programs within the Alliances and Channels organization at Salesforce.com. The ideal candidate must be able to see and articulate the big picture while also working "in the weeds" and showing strong attention to detail; to think on his/her feet and correctly assess and respond to requests in real time; and to build strong relationships and influence others to action. The candidate must have demonstrated success in completing complex projects from start to finish with minimal assistance, and with working in an extremely fluid environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ownership of all operational aspects of channel reseller programs; Identify any gaps in operational support of these programs; prioritize areas to address, then develop and execute plans to fix issues
- Work with Alliances & Channels business leaders to define key operational requirements in support of business process outsourcer (BPO) partnership programs, and lead efforts to fill any operational gaps
- Ensure all programs are compliant with all internal policies. Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and maintain all required documentation including approval matrices, price lists and key business terms for programs
- Act as operations "deal desk" and main approver for all requests from partners under these programs. Provide operational support, oversight, and guidance to partner account managers and sales reps in support of ongoing business
- Act as business lead for all required systems improvements in support of reseller programs, working with IT and other technical support organizations
- Develop training materials and serve as primary liaison to educate all internal groups and stakeholders on relevant aspects of reseller programs
- Work cross-functionally with members of sales, technical architects, legal, and other SFDC operations, finance, and support teams to ensure alignment with all reseller program operations
- Perform operations "deal desk" functions and serve as approver for deals under other partner programs, and undertake projects in support of these programs as needed
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years experience in technology reseller / channel business, work with BPO programs a plus
- Self-starter; able to translate broad problem statements into concrete action plans and execute against them
- Inquisitive, questioning mindset with strong critical judgment and close attention to detail
- Process-oriented individual with a proven history of developing and executing significant process improvement plans.
- Strong executive communication and PowerPoint skills; track record of presenting to and/or working with senior business leaders
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment, working with a sense of urgency
- Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with a diverse set of business partner
- Strong PowerPoint skills, ability to create executive-ready presentations with polished slides and strong narrative flow
- Strong Excel skills; at a minimum, ability to use Pivot Tables and experience building financial or analytical models
- BA/BS required, MBA preferred
