This position is within Application Migration Services (AMS). AMS is a dynamic environment. The current job posting is for Enterprise Upgrade / Migration team as ADP begins to migrate current clients to Vantage, this role could expand to include additional products sets and workstreams.



The Project Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the delivery of upgrade and/or migration projects within Application Shared Services to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes and allocated budgets. The Project Manager manages an internal team of resources as well and works with client resources to ensure clients also stay on track with client assigned tasks. The Project Manager ensures milestones and project deliveries are successfully met through the management of project activities, tasks and the coordination of resources.



The Project Manager MUST have strong knowledge of all NAS products (i.e. PayForce, Autopay, PCPW, Enterprise HR, Benefits, Time, ADP Self Service, ADP Reporting, etc.)



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the Migration and/or Upgrade project, creates and maintains a project plan, manages a team of consultants, utilizes the Application Shared Services (AMS) Methodology and Toolset. Manages the project’s scope, hours estimate and change controls.



Oversees the analysis of client specifications, configuration of the application, the technical conversion, testing coordination efforts and the move to Production.



Manages all project tasks from Project Startup to Go Live including the oversight of activities completed by both onshore and offshore team members. Ability to partner and communicate with offshore team leads to move work through the project cycle within required timelines with high quality.



Generates and maintains key project documents; project plans, project workbooks, status reports, issue and resolution logs and change control documents. Utilizes these documents to communicate project status to the client and ADP’s project and management teams. Effectively executes project control and determines appropriate Issue resolution/alternative. Maintains current client profile data and escalates project Issues to client and ADP executives as necessary.



Develops and communicates the project plan tasks using recommended tools and assigns tasks to the appropriate ADP team member. Mentors new team members on project task execution and ADP product and internal operational procedures. Oversees the inter-department coordination efforts required on specific project tasks relating to customs, interfaces, regional support and hosting services.



Coordinates the turnover of new clients from Sales & Scoping. Conducts a Kickoff meeting with the client’s project team establishing roles and responsibilities for the project and introducing the methodology to be used for a successful implementation. Coordinates the turnover of clients to the service organizations once the migration/upgrade project is complete to ensure a smooth transition. Provides all documentation necessary for the ongoing support of the client on the new product release. Establishes a list of open issues and assigns responsibility for completion of those Issues.



Assists management in identifying opportunities for process improvements as well as new offshore opportunities. Takes part in training and mentoring offshore associates where needed to expand the skill sets of our offshore teams.



Provides all team members with immediate feedback on their performance. Submits Project Evaluations completely and timely and provides management with input for the completion of performance appraisals.



25% Travel required



Most projects would be executed in a remote manner, however some more complex projects may require some onsite time.

7. Ensures that approved methods, processes and tools are consistently followed and used.



8. Building/Managing Teams: Organizes, gains the involvement of, and manages diverse work groups and/ or task forces to accomplish specific project or department goals. Adapts management style to meet the unique needs of individuals for coaching, feedback, recognition and mentoring to maximize department results.



9. Problem Analysis/Resolution: Gathers information necessary to make decisions; anticipates, identifies, eliminates and resolves problems in a timely manner; knows and uses available resources.

11. Works well under pressure and has a high tolerance for stress. Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse and conflicting activities. Must possess excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



- MUST have strong knowledge of all NAS products (i.e. PayForce, Autopay, PCPW, Enterprise HR, Benefits, Time, ADP Self Service, ADP Reporting, etc.)

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent in education and experience.

- 5 years experience in ADP client/product support, or equivalent ADP/external business experience.

- PMP certification or be working towards a PMP certification is preferred .



- Ability to travel 25%
