Job Description



Dell is currently seeking a System Security Administrator for an upcoming proposal effort. This position is a remote/virtual position.



The candidate will work to support of a team of senior-level security engineers collaborating with remote sites and senior personnel in support of information assurance controls and security protection activities. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of standardized security processes, technology configurations and security controls at the enterprise level. Additional responsibilities will be providing security subject matter support to Tier 3 on-site personnel as well as supporting the creation of remediation strategies to address recurring security issues.



Duties include validation and monitoring of application development support activities; quality management; and project monitoring. Candidate will have experience with Cyber Security Policies and threat mitigation. Candidate will have experience in managing security programs for products, tools, or programs. Candidate will be able to ensure that records are maintained, security updates are promulgated, and staff are properly briefed. Candidate must have familiarity and experience in the implementation of cyber security regulations.



Support security team efforts as a security Point of Contact (POC). Answer questions and provide security guidance on all information security related issues, ensure the completion and correctness of all NIST 800-53 remediation efforts and ensure compliance with Security policies and requirements. Ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Travel to remote sites in the performance of Baseline and one or more assessment visits is required. Collaborate with engineers and on-site information security personnel in the performance of duties for each visit.

Specific duties include;



Provide operations and security support to SDE Team and onsite Tier 2 and Tier 3 personnel.

Coordinate and prepare for daily, weekly, and ad hoc meetings, to include development of agendas. Create and provide meeting minutes to stakeholders.

Create security Project Plan that includes the tasking, sub-tasking, work breakdown structure, and coordination of work required for SDE to address CRISP actions based on recommendations.

Support development of monthly OMR Plan, to include CRISP OIG recommendations, coordinated input from SDE, and tasking, sub-tasking, work breakdown structure, and coordination of activities.

Manage and organize information collected to describe planned development activities.

Provide coordination support between ESE and the Office of Information Security (OIS) to manage configuration management reporting requirements and develop Baseline Configuration Reports.

Facilitate site preparation for Inspector General (IG) audits.

Vulnerability management experience.

Facilitate communication with stakeholder to ensure all requirements are being met.

Track progress against work schedules.

Evaluate and assess compliance with established IA policies and regulations.



Required Skills



Requirements:

Candidate must be US citizen with an ability to be granted a security clearance. Individual with an existing clearance adjudicated by a federal entity is preferred. Individual will be required to undergo a background investigation in order to gain access to classified/protected information.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and five years of related experience. A minimum of three years supporting information assurance projects.

Excellent technical writing skills and knowledge of computer systems and networks.

Ability to interact in a positive and collaborative manner with other contractors, teams, senior management, and Government personnel.

Active working knowledge of core infrastructure technologies.

Solid project management, time management, and organizational skills
