Job Description
Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government, Inc. (DSFG) is seeking a Command Center Manager II. In this position, you will be responsible to plan, direct and coordinate activities of individuals responsible for managing and delivering DoD customer, including:
- Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation and managing related maintenance documentation programs
- PMS/maintenance documentation may apply to operational, new construction or new design surface ships, submarines, or deep submergence platforms.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for the following:
- Hiring, retention, career development /planning, performance and pay discussions of team members
- Develoingp relationships with key customers, internal organizations and external peer organizations
- Effectively communicating relevant program information to the customer and superiors
- Responsible for formulating, guiding and directing the technical approach as well as overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans
- Providing engineering, program management, and information technology support throughout the entire life-cycle maintenance process.

Required Skills
Required: Minimum 15 years experience with the overall planning, direction and execution of
major submarine or shipyard maintenance programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology
initiatives. Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several
sub-programs/tasks.
Desired Skills
-Qualification in Submarine or Surface Warfare
-Specialized experience in the use, maintenance or revision of maintenance documentation in 3M/PMS System
-Knowledge of and experience applying Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles to maintenance program development.
Education
Requires an Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience
10-years Government or military experience working as an engineer or manager of
submarine or ship maintenance or shipyard repair.
Requirements
Physical ability to work on board a ship, climb ladders, inspect hard to reach
Hazards
Normal office environment, but occasional presence on board ships and submarines may be required.
