Qualifications :


OARDC stands for Oracle Asia Research & Development Center. OARDC-NOKK team is

known as OARDC -Japan Projects team, doing Tech QA,Apps QA, Apps development and

Japan Systems/Solution Readiness or Oracle Japan. Systems readiness team is

funded by Oracle Japan Systems BU in OARDC by providing pre-sales technical support,

system readiness support for Japan Local Pre-sales SE and external Partners .



## KEY OBJECTIVE:

Work with Oracle Japan corresponding local pre-sales team and Global support teams to

clear any technical inquiries from Japan local pre-sales ,sales and partners. Help to

increase system products revenue by providing optimized solution proposal and

verification. Perform after-release functional qualifications in case needed. Deliver technical

documents for Japan market on systems product readiness.



## SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Partners and Japan Local Pre-Sales technical support

Answer technical inquiries timely and precisely from Oracle Japan partners or local pre-sales

team for implementing of optimized solution regarding Sun/Oracle systems product line.

2. Create and deliver technical documents on Sun/Oracle systems product line with high quality.

3. Propose and verify optimized solution for internal and external customers on Sun/Oracle

systems product line .

4. Communicate with Global teams to improve quality or/and provide optimized solution on

Sun/Oracle systems product .



*Required Skills:

1. Working experience of storage or/and tape products (SAN, NAS, tape drive/library etc.)

2. Working experience of server products(SPARC, x64 architecture)

3. Working experience of Solaris and Linux operating system (RHEL, OEL etc.)

4. Working experience of Cluster software (Solaris Cluster , Veritas Cluster etc. )

5. Good understand of server and storage networking (FC, SAS, iSCSI, FCoE ,Infiniband ,TCP/IP etc.)

6. Excellent self-study capability of technical skills and knowledge

7. Good communication skills and great teamwork

8. Good at read & written communication skill in Japanese and English



## Desired Skills (Technical experience on any of below areas is a strong plus):

1. Virtualization technology :

Working experience with VM (OVM for SPARC or OVM for x86, VMware ESX) will be a big plus

2. Hardware technology :

Working experience of Data Center Deployment, tuning, trouble shooting.

Knowledge of high end server architecture will be a big plus

3. Software technology :

Working experience of Database(i.e. Oracle DB), Middleware(i.e. Weblogic) , BI will be a big plus

Working experience of HBA, HCA driver development will be a big plus

4. Other

SUN/Oracle certification of SCSA ,SCNA,SCSecA will be a big plus

Engineer who has Strong analytical skills



RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING

1. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

2. Japanese Level Rank-1 certification or equivalent (i.e. J-Test: B or above)

*Note: only if having outstanding technical skill and knowledge , the requirement of Japanese skill above can be compromised.

3. CET 4 or above certification or equivalent

4. Minimal 3+ years professional hardware or systems software technical experience. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.



As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.



Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
