International Material Data System (IMDS) Aministrator

The IMDS/SoC Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IMDS data management and the subsequent Substance of Concern (SoC) metrics necessary to support global regulatory compliance programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for the monitoring, screening, reviewing and communication of information to external suppliers and FCA staff regarding corporate requirements, material content submissions to IMDS and related formal reporting/documentation requirements. The IMDS/SoC Administrator is also responsible for directing and leading off-shore teams, maintaining pertinent metrics, generating necessary internal and regulatory data/reports, and working cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders in the performance of responsibilities.

The IMDS/SoC Administrator will also be responsible for leading supplier communication regarding IMDS/FCA SoC requirements, program importance, non-compliance, and applicable training. The selected candidate will manage supplier coordination to resolve issues with the part information submitted into the International Material Data System (IMDS) and develop strategies for ensuring suppliers continue to enter MDS information -- inclusive of when FCA acts as a supplier to other entities. The Administrator will support strategy development to address challenging suppliers, internally produced parts, all time buy issues and other challenges to ensure compliance for all service parts. The selected candidate will develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting and metrics for IMDS and complete quarterly quality gate activities determined to support IMDS compliance. The Administrator will also support the development of strategies for continued and sustained ELV/SOC compliance for service parts and perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
