The role enables you to shape the product development process and organize product launches from beginning to end.

  • Manage a team of marketers who will execute the marketing strategy.

  • Seek actionable consumer insights to inform the product and marketing strategy and advocate for the consumer across marketing, product, and partners.

  • Be responsible for consumer insights, competitive analysis, product positioning, naming, objectives and metrics, launch and marketing strategy, and lifecycle management.

  • Work with a cross-functional team across Product Development, Partnerships, Merchandising, Marketing Communications, PR, Legal, and more.

  • Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7 years of relevant work experience with experience in consumer product marketing leadership.

  • Preferred qualifications

  • A great passion for consumers and consumer experiences, with a demonstrated ability to utilize consumer insights and data to improve the customer experience. Experience working in digital entertainment.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with ability to both nurture creativity and drive operational process and discipline.

  • Demonstrated talent at building collaborative partnerships with product teams.

  • Ability to analyze research or performance data, develop insights and apply the insight to optimize marketing activities.

  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally across all levels of management, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Area

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
